Eight samples of ice-cream were submitted to the Public
Analysts to ascertain the fat content of the mixture. These samples
contained fat to the following extent:—
11.3 per cent, 11.7 per cent, 11.2 per cent, 12.5 per cent,
12,8 per cent, 11.9 per cent, 11.2 per cent, 12.6 per cent.
Three samples of double cream and one sample of single cream
were submitted to the Public Analysts to ascertain the fat content
of the mixture. These samples contained fat to the following extent:—
Double cream — 50.7 per cent, 48.5 per cent, 48.9 per cent.
Single cream — 18.0 per cent.

The following is a list of foods surrendered in 1953 because of unsound conditions.
