7. FOOD COMPLAINTS.
23 complaints regarding the quality, nature and substance of
food were received during 1968, as follows:-

Chocolate rolls 1 Mould on stewed steak 1
Cornflakes 1 Pork pie 1*
Cornish pasty 1 Rice 2
Dirty milk bottles 2 Rissoles 1
Fruit pies 2 Sausages 1
Fruit juice bottle Sponge cake 1
top 1 Steak and kidney pie 1
Glass in milk bottle 1 Toy plastic pig in milk
Grapefruit 2 bottle 1
These complaints were all investigated and in 4 cases formal
action was taken.
