Housing Act, 1936—Part IV—Overcrowding.
(a) (i) Number of dwellings overcrowded at the end of
the year 21
(it) Number of families dwelling therein 21
(iii) Number of persons dwelling therein 153
(b) Number of cases of overcrowding reported during
the year 6
(c) (i) Number of cases of overcrowding relieved during
the year 6
(ii) Number of persons concerned in such cases 41
(d) Particulars of any cases in which dwelling-houses have
again become overcrowded after the Local Authority
have taken steps for the abatement of overcrowding Nil
(e) Any other particulars with respect to overcrowding
conditions upon which the Medical Officer of Health
may consider it desirable to report Nil
Licences for 2 families shown under (c) (1) have been issued
permitting the house to be overcrowed for a period of one year. The
overcrowding in each case was only by ½ equivalent adult.

The total is the same as last year, six new cases of overcrowding
being reported and six cases of overcrowding relieved during the year.
