METHODS OF DISINFECTION.
Infectious Disease.
As to Rooms—The procedure adopted in disinfecting
rooms is as follows:— in all cases the room occupied by the
patient is sealed and fumigated with Formalin, etc.
As to Articles of Clothing.—The clothing, bedding, curtains,
and all infected articles which can be removed are
taken to be disinfected in the Thresh's apparatus at the
Hospital.
Verminous Persons and their Belongings.
No centre or arrangements for the cleansing of verminous
persons or their belongings have been established, and the
need for such has not made itself apparent during the year.
VACCINATION.
Total number of successful Vaccination Certificates received
during the year was 228.
Total number of Exemptions, 306.
