INFECTIOUS DISEASE.
General Remarks.
Scarlet Fever incidence was comparatively low. That of
Diphtheria on the other hand was considerably higher than last
year. Heston had a comparatively larger proportion of cases, many
of which were discovered aa the result of swabbing.
Six cases of Enteric Fever were reported, but investigation
failed to reveal any positive source of infection.
The one case of Anthrax occurred in a soldier who was
transferred from Feltham to the Hounslow Barracks, en route
for Millbank.
