The number of premises on which nuisances were outstanding
at the end of 1922 was 589. To these another 740 premises
whereat nuisances were recorded in 1923 were added, giving a
total of 1,329 premises. Of these S32 had the nuisances remedied,
leaving 497 premises at which nuisances still existed at the end
of the year.
During the year, nuisances at 67 houses were reported to the

the year, the nuisances were remedied in 48 of the houses, leaving
46 cases to be carried forward in 1924.
