COUNCIL LABORATORY.
The following table gives a statement of the work in the
Laboratory during the year 1915:—

One sample of water was analysed.
There has been a steady increase in the number of bacteriological examinations made in the Laboratory since it was opened on the 14th April, 1910, a,s shown in the following table:—

During the year under report, the number of specimens has
again substantially increased (to 498), chiefly on account of the
bacteriological work undertaken for the Hounslow Military Hospital.
SANITARY ADMINISTRATION.
The remarks which were made in last year's report with
regard to the water supply, drainage and sewerage, closet accommodation
and scavenging of the district, apply generally to the year
under report.
