16 of the Act is as follows :—

The number of inspections of registered food premises during 1956
was 111.
Unsound Food.
Following the closing down of the Corporation's refuse disposal
works at the end of 1955, arrangements were made with Merton and
Morden U.D.C. for the reception of unsound food surrendered to the
Health Department. This system operated until December, 1955, when
arrangements were made for this procedure to continue for a further
period of two years.
The following is a list of unsound food surrendered during 1956:
