CLEAN FOOD ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
No meetings of the Clean Food Advisory Committee were held
during 1953.
HEATING APPLIANCES (FIREGUARDS) ACT 1952.
This Act, which prohibits the sale or letting of certain heating
appliances without an effective fireguard, came into force on 1st October,
1953. The Wimbledon Borough Council had previously authorised the
Sanitary Inspectors to carry out the duties imposed under the Act.
