DEATHS.
The total number of Wimbledon residents who died during
1951 was 779, giving a death-rate of 13.33 per thousand of the population
as compared with 12.65 per thousand for 1950. The corrected
death-rate for 1951 is 10.93 per thousand as compared with a rate
of 12.5 per thousand for England and Wales.
The number of Wimbledon residents who died outside the
Borough was 311, while 276 persons not normally resident in Wimbledon
died in institutions, etc., in the Borough.
