Notification of Births Acts, 1907 and 1915.

During the year, six hundred and eighteen biths were notified by the following persons:—

Twelve of these notifications were in respect of stillbirths.
Of the six hundred and eighteen notifications two hundred
and twenty were received from Medical Officers of Health of
outside areas, and related to births which had occurred to
Wimbledon residents confined outside the Borough. Similarly,
seventy-four confinements occurred in Wimbledon amongst
women, whose homes were situated in other districts.
Deaths.—The total numiber of deaths registered in the
district was five hundred and six (217 males and 289 females),
equal to a death rate of 8.51 per thousand of the population
per annum.

The deaths occurring outside the district, of persons belonging to this Borough were two hundred and seventy-five, namely:—
