thorough investigation into all maternal deaths, still-births and
infant deaths.
During the year, 3 cases of puerperal fever were notified, and all made good recoveries. The following table shows the number of eases of Ophthalmia Neonatorum, and the result of the early treatment.

There were no deaths from measles, 3 infantile deaths were
due to whooping cough. No cases of epidemic diarrhoea or of
poliomyelitis were notified.
