Both Day Nurseries are approved for training in the care of
children aged 0—5 years. Both have 60 places.
Training.— During 1955, eight Nursery Students gained their
Certificates of the Royal Sanitary Institute and one failed. Their
future careers were as follows:—
3 (including one student who failed her examination)
entered General Nursing Training.
2 continued as Staff Nursery Nurse with other Authorities.
1 intended to train as a Dental Surgeon and has obtained
a position with this intention in view.
1 is working in an office until she obtains a Day Nursery
appointment.
1 did not wish to continue Nursery work for domestic
reasons.
1 married.
