Mr. C. W. Rayner, the Council's Housing Manager, kindly gives the following details of rehousing carried out by his Department in 1954:—

Of the total number of families rehoused, in 8 instances there
was a medical recommendation made in respect of tuberculosis.
Rehousing of Medical Cases
During 1954, 63 cases claiming rehousing priority for tuberculosis
were investigated and reported upon. Of these 21 cases
were added to the list of cases.
