Both Day Nurseries are approved for training in the care of
children aged 0—5 years. Both have 60 places.
Training.—During 1952, seven students entered for the Nur
sery Nurses' Certificate, of whom six passed, and during 1953, eight
entered and passed, the one failure during 1952 being the first in
the 10 years in which the Day Nurseries have been training
students. The subsequent careers of the 14 who gained their
certificates during 1952 and 1953 have been as follows :

Illegal Entry.—Repeated entries took place at one of the Day
Nurseries.
