VACCINATION AND IMMUNISATION
(Section 26)
DIPHTHERIA IMMUNISATION
Immunisation was carried out at the weekly clinic held at
the Town Hall, at Schools and at all Welfare Centres, on the
lines detailed in previous reports. The following summarises the
work done :—
Total number of immunisations completed during 1951 :—
(a) School age | 265 |
(b) Pre-school age | 1,212 |
Total | 1,477 |
(c) Number already immunised having a reinforcing dose | 2,025 |
The above total includes 53 children immunised at " Brooks
croft " and 470 immunised by General Practitioners.
