Canned Ham.
Owing to the large quantities of imported canned ham condemned
each month, the Council directed that a communication
be sent to the Ministry of Food calling attention to the undesirability
of allowing the importation of this grade of food.
The Ministry of Food has now placed an embargo on canned
ham from several countries.
