without prejudicing their claims for Treasury grants equal to one
half of the expenditure incurred. Work undertaken at business
premises is still charged for on a cost plus basis.
Two trained Rodent Operatives continue to be mainly engaged
in the work of rodent repression in private dwellings and business
premises.
The methods suggested by the Ministry of Agriculture and
Fisheries (Infestation Control Division) are strictly followed and
the Council continue to participate in the Ministry's Scheme.
The pre-baiting and poison baiting methods continue to be
successful.
