Maternal Deaths.
There were two maternal deaths of patients delivered in the
Hospital.
One was due to myocarditis associated with congenital malformation
of the heart and the other to obstetric shock due to ante-partum
and post-partum haemorrhage.
Another patient admitted after delivery died of uraemia
following post-partum haemorrhage.
