Two infants admitted from the district died in the Hospital;
one baby 3 lbs. 13 ozs. died of atelectasis and the other congenital
malformation of the heart.
PUERPERAL PYREXIA
The number of cases in which pyrexia occurred in the
puerperium was for booked cases 16, a percentage of 1.33 relative
to 1,196 booked confinements, and for unbooked cases 3, a percentage
of 4.3 relative to 69 emergency admissions (18 of which
took place at home).
