"Immunisation against Diphtheria is done at all the Welfare
Centres. The number of children aged 1-5 years immunised in the
Borough was 1,336, and of these approximately 524 were done at
the Welfares.
"Thanks are again due to the voluntary workers who have
continued to give good and faithful service during the past year.''

Child Life Protection.β€”At the end of 1945 there were 25
nurse-children on the Register, compared with 27 at the end of
1944. There were no deaths among nurse-children during 1945.
