VITAMINS.
The facilities for the distribution of vitamins outlined in the
Report for 1942 were continued.
Personnel of the Civil Defence Casualty Service helped and a
considerable proportion of the assistance was given during offduty
hours.
DAY NURSERIES.
A grant-aided Day Nursery at Brookscroft provided by the
Walthamstow Child Welfare Society has accommodation for 25
children, but this was closed on 1st June, 1945.
Attendances.—The following table shows the average attendances at the various Nurseries during 1945 (Mondays to Fridays only).
