ICE CREAM.
Owing to the war-time restrictions ice cream is not made.
Two samples of "Iced Blanc Mange" were taken and submitted
for analysis under the sale of Food & "rugs Act. This commodity
was sold in a frozen condition similar to ice cream and
subsequently proceedings were taken by the Food Executive Officer.
MEAT AND OTHER FOODS.
Owing to the continued operation of the Live Stock (Restriction
of Slaughtering) Order 1940, no slaughtering has been carried out
at Slaughter Houses during the year.

The following is a list of food condemned as unfit for human consumption. Wherever possible the food was salvaged for animal feeding either through the Salvage Division of the Ministry of Food, or the local Fig Food Scheme
