THORPE COOMBE MATERNITY HOSPITAL
CLINICAL REPORT FOR 1942.
During the year there were 801 admissions, the number of
confinements was 695, attendances at the Ante-natal Clinics
were 7,315 and at the Post-natal Clinics 625.

A number of patients admitted during the ante-natal period
were delivered before discharge.
Of the confinements this year 80 per cent were normal, the
remaining 20 per cent. required the services of the Doctor at the
delivery.
