MATERNAL MORTALITY.
During 1942, three deaths associated with pregnancy and
child-bearing were investigated for the completion of
enquiry forms.
Particulars relating to the three deaths are given in the
accompanying table.

The following table shows the maternal mortality rates for 1942 (calculated on the two deaths assigned by the Registrar-General to Headings 29 and 30).
