The Sheep Scab Order, 1928.- During the year, no sheep were
admitted into the area under Licence for Slaughter.
Swine Fever Order, 1908.- No action was necessary under this
Order during the year.
Regulation of Movement of Swine Order. 1922.- Four Isolation
Notices affecting 49 swine were received. The Licences were
in all cases duly observed.
2 Movement Licences were issued under the Order.
Rats and Mice Destruction Act, 1919.
Work under this heading still demands much time and careful
attention. A thorough investigation is made of all complaints
regarding rat infestations and appropriate action taken.
Under the Food Control Committee's (Destruction of Rats and
Mice) Order 1940, a report is furnished monthly to the Ministry
of Food Rodent Officer setting out information as to inspections
made and action taken in combating rodent nuisances. The
