During the year 114 samples of food and drugs were submitted
to and examined by the Public Analyst. Three samples were
unsatisfactory, the particulars being as follows:-

Chemical and Bacteriological Examination of Food.
Chemical examination is carried out by the Public Analyst,
Dr.Bernard Dyer, and bacteriological examination by the Counties
Public Health Laboratories, Gidea Park College.
Rent and Mortgage Restrictions Acts.
During the year 17 certificates were granted to tenants and
six certificates issued to owners upon their application and
completion of the scheduled works.
Diseases of Animals Acts, 1894-1928.
Sheep Scab Order, 1920 - No case of this disease occurred in
the Borough during the year.
