(e) Sunlight.- No infants were referred for sunlight tre&tnent
during 1941.
(f) Child Guidance.- Arrangements have now been made for children
under five years of age to be referred to the London Child Guidance
Clinic. No cases were referred in 1941.
(g) Invalid Children's Aid Association.- Miss Lewis, Secretary
to the local branch of the Invalid Children's Aid Association,
kindly reports that the following cases of children under five
years of age were dealt with by her Association:-

ASSISTED MILK SCHEME.
Number of applications during 1941 338
Number of families assisted 98
The National Milk Scheme operated from July, 1940 and the
above represent applications for special brands of milk not
supplied under that scheme.
HOME HELPS.
Applications for the provision of Home Helps ere considered
by the Milk Rota Committee and. if approved, a payment of 12s.6d.
per week for,two weeks is made. In addition to the 105 Home
Helps approved during 1941 many mothers attending the Clinic made
their own arrangements to obtain the help of suitable women whose
names were supplied by the Health Visitors.
8 applications were rejected by the Rota Committee.
The demand for Home Helps has been as follows during the past
seven years: 1935 (50), 1936 (87), 1937 (78), 1938 (178),
1939 (125), 1940 (128), 1941 (105).
STERILISED MATERNITY OUTFITS.
A total of 247 sets were used in the Borough and 175 outfits
were issued below cost price. A sterility test was carried out
with satisfactory results on a sample set.
