HOME HELPS.
In addition to the 125 Home Helps approved during 1939, many
mothers attending the Clinic made their own arrangements to obtain
the help of suitable women whose names were supplied by the Health
Visitors.
Four applications were rejected.
STERILISED MATERNITY OUTFITS.
A total of 273 sets were used in the Borough and 212 outfits
were issued below cost price.
INSTITUTIONAL TREATMENT, ETC.
Eleven children were sent to Institutions under arrangements
approved by your Committee.
