The percentage of oases removed to Hospital during 1937 was
797 against 911 in 1936 No case was refused admission
The continued fall in the incidence of Scarlet Fever will be
noted (ie, 1937, 207; 1936, 315; 1935, 569; 1934, 605), and a
decrease in the percentage of patients removed to Hospital
It is very questionable if the routine admission to Hospital of
the average uncomplicated case of Scarlet Fever is justified,
provided certain criteria are satisfied Amongst the most
