"The Corps has been honoured by the gift to four members
of the Jubilee Medal, in recognition of services rendered
-during the reign of King George V.
"At the final District Competitions held on 6th April in
London, two Corps Officers and one Divisional Superintendent
from Walthamstow were selected to assist the Judges.
"Members have done duty at cinemas, cricket, rugby
and football matches, fetes, children's and old folks entertainments,
Epping Road post at the 'Robin Hood' (summer duty)
and our sub-stations as usual."
Nursing in the Home:—
(a) General.—No change since 1931.
(b) Infectious Diseases.—No change since 1931.
CLINICS AND TREATMENT CENTRES.
Foot Clinic.
Total attendances were 8,417 and of these 1,824 were
by new patients, and 6,593 were re-attendances by old
patients. The receipts were £335 7s. 5d.
Following the resignation of the temporary assistant
chiropodist, it was decided to make a new permanent
appointment.
Since June 1935, patients have been seen by appointment
only.
Women's Clinic—In May the Council decided that
sessions should be held weekly instead of fortnightly and
that one consultant session be held monthly.
Miss Basden continued as Consultant-in-Charge and
Miss Helen Rodway, M.C.O.G., took charge of the weekly
sessions.
