when the Hospital remained closed until the end of the year.
SCARLET FEVER.
A total of 681 cases of Scarlet Fever were notified in 1933 as
compared with 445 in 1932.

The percentage of cases removed to Hospital during 1933 was
76.3 against 82.2 in 1932. No cases were refused admission
although, in view of the increased incidence towards the end of
the year, several cases were nursed at home by arrangement.
