Cases of Tuberculosis, on notification, are visited by the Tuberculosis
Nurses. Cases of longer standing are visited by the Sanitary Inspectors
during the year, a visit being made to each patient every six months; 1,072
persons were visited during the year. The following reports were obtained:

The treatment of Tuberculosis is now under the control of the Regional
Hospital Board. On the 31st December. 1952, there were 1,133 patients on
the register of the Ilford Clinic.

Mass Radiography.
The Mass Radiography Unit of the North East Metropolitan Regional
Hospital Board attended in the Ilford district from 5th November, 1951,
to the 21st January, 1952. Dr. Hugh Ramsay, the Medical Director, supplied
me with particulars of the Survey as follows:—
