street cleansing, the Board have appointed an Inspector of
Street Scavenging and Watering.
Sanitary Work.
A very large number of nuisances have been dealt
with, and much work carried out, during the past year.
In order that Members may be more fully acquainted
with the details of the work carried out, a synopsis of
sanitary work is published every month and forwarded to
Members of the Board.
The following statistics as to the work under the
Public Health (London) Act, 1891, show the activity
which has existed:—
