In addition to the matters upon which the Works and
General Purposes Committee reported to the Vestry they considered
at each meeting reports and estimates submitted by the
Surveyor relating to general small works and repairs in accordance
with the authority conferred upon them by the Standing
Orders of the Vestry and gave the necessary instructions as to
the carrying out of such works and repairs.

The Street Cleansing Dusting and Depot Committee
have held 37 protracted sittings during the
year, and have submitted 28 reports to the Vestry upon
the matters under their control and management containing 165
recommendations.
