OPHTHALM1A NEONATORUM.
A Health Visitor is instructed to visit immediately upon
notification, and inquire into the circumstances of the case.

Arrangements have been made with the London
County Council for the reception and treatment of cases
of Ophthalmia Neonatorum from the Borough, at St.
Margaret's Hospital, Kentish Town, N.W.5.
Application for the admission of cases to be made by
the Medical Officer of Health of the Borough, who will
arrange for the conveyance of patients to and from the
Hospital.
The charge is to be at the rate of 10s. per patient per
day.
No case was sent to Hospital under this scheme during
the year.
CEREBRO—SP1NAL FEVER.
Four cases were notified during the year.
Two were patients admitted to the Kingston and District
Hospital from outside the Borough.
The two Kingston cases were notified on January 6th
and May 1st.
The first was a girl aged 12 years who was admitted to
the Kingston Victoria Hospital. She made a good recovery
and was afterwards sent to the Open Air Day School for
a time, and then returned to an ordinary elementary school.
