(ii) Milk Supply, Meat and Other Foods.
Particulars of action taken with regard to milk, meat,
and other foods, including inspection of meat, slaughterhouses,
shops, and places where food is prepared are given
in the Report of the Sanitary Inspector, which is included
at the end of the Main Report.
1 made a personal inspection of the four private
slaughterhouses which are situated at:
1. No. 120, London Road.
2. Behind No. 34, Richmond Road.
3. Adjoining No. 76, Cambridge Road.
4. No. 45, Cambridge Grove Road.
The buildings are old and by no means ideal, but on
the whole are well kept. With regard to No. 45, Cambridge
Grove Road which is an old wooden building, where very
little slaughtering takes place, it seems a pity that this
structure continues to be maintained for the purpose.
