thirty years ago. It was therefore thought necessary for
the faeces and urine of all the inmates of the house to be
examined, and negative results were obtained in each case
with the exception of Mrs. D. This woman is also suffering
from carcinoma of the cervix uteri, and as soon as the positive
result was known, arrangements were made for her to
be admitted to the Kingston and District Hospital, and to
be kept under proper supervision.
I attach here a tabulated form showing the results of
the tests carried out.
