CO-ORDINATION.
Infant and Child Welfare.
As a step towards further co-ordination and unification
of the Medical Service, for its better and more efficient working,
both as regards School and Child Welfare work, also
to present overlapping and secure that the same staff look
after infants both before and after they reach school age, a
scheme was presented suggesting that the School Nurse and
the two Health Visitors should in future work both sections,
their time being allocated as follows:—
