MASS RADIOGRAPHY UNIT.
The Unit from the West Ham Hospital Management Committee operated
from Church Road Clinic from 29/11/50 to 3.8/1/51 and from the Drill Hall,
Vicarage Lane, from 24/1/51 to 5/2/51.

Dr. Lawless, the Medical Director, who kindly provided the following information, Intimated the response had been very disappointing.

There were therefore, 16 cases of active tuberculosis discovered
by the survey a ratio of 3.84 per 1,000 examinations, which is slightly below
the national figure for Mass Radiography Surveys.
There was no untoward incidence of respiratory disease in any
group examined.
WATER SUPPLY.
(i) The water supply of the Borough in its several parts has been
satisfactory both in quality and quantity.
