Day Nurseries.
Throughout 1947, the following nurseries were open :—

The demand for admission exceeded the number of places
available and there was a waiting list at all the nurseries. During
the year the numbers attending on Saturdays was small, and
in consequence the Committee decided to close the nurseries on
these days.
