The diaphragmatic paralysis was treated with a Bragg Paul
apparatus, borrowed from Ilford Isolation Hospital.
One late laryngeal tracheotomy was performed (died).
Serum Reaction.
4 patients developed serum reaction.
Bacteriological Examinations.
Number of swabs examined 644
Swabs sent from outside 109
65 were found to be positive; among them was one aural
swab.
