Our main work therefore in the field of prevention would
appear to be a concentration on young adolescents, and the
assistance to be derived by the installation of our new X-ray
apparatus might well prove to be of incalculable value in this
domain.
Blood investigation in Pulmonary Tuberculosis:
Hitherto the facilities for this form of investigation have not
been available.
So much is, however, to be learned concerning the prospects
of good recovery or otherwise from such investigations as blood
sedimentation rates, that it is hoped in the future that these blood
investigations will be available.
Nursing Staff at Clinic:
With three fully trained Sisters the Nursing aspect of our
work is everything that can be desired both at the clinic and on
the District, where during the year 3,728 visits to the homes of
the patients have been made.
