The Invalid and Children's Aid Association.
The East Ham Branch of this Association was formed in 1923
and since its inception has worked in close co-operation with the
Public Health Authority, Education Committee, and all institutions
and voluntary agencies for the supervision and assistance of
the invalid and crippled children in East Ham.
It will be seen from the following statistics the extent to which
the Association provides for the care and treatment of children
referred by the Public Health Authority and Education Committee.
The Association is to be commended upon the simplicity of its
arrangements and the businesslike methods by which proper and
adequate provision is afforded to these little sufferers. The work
is not only valuable, it is indispensable to the residents of the
Borough, and I desire to express my thanks to the Committee and
to Miss H. Webber, the Secretary, for continued help.
