by summer outings, social evenings and supplying parcels at
Christmas. The Association supplies 28 weekly and 10 monthly
magazines, and embossed literature is obtained through the local
libraries from the National Library for the Blind.
Grants for clothing, extra nourishment, etc., are made as
cases are brought to the notice of the officers.
INVALID CHILDREN'S AID ASSOCIATION
(East Ham Branch).
Continued progress has been made during the period under
review, 220 cases having been dealt with, 147 of which were
fresh cases. During the years of the work of the branch 707
children from all parts of the Borough have been assisted.
The Association has continued to co-operate successfully with
the Public Health Committee, Education Committee, Guardians,
Pensions Committee and practically every London Hospital.

Convalescent or institutional treatment has been arranged for
varying periods according to medical advice at the following

Clewer, Coldash, Church Crookham, Dover,
Eastbourne, Folkestone, Hastings, Hayling Island,
