Maternity Accommodation.
There being; thus far no Maternity Home under the direct
control of the Borough Council of East Ham, arrangements are
made for the accommodation of necessitous cases requiring inpatient
treatment at the cost of the Council at Queen Mary's Hospital,
Stratford, and at the Maternity and District Nurses' Home,
Plaistow, upon the written recommendation of the Medical Officer.
During 1925 seven cases were sent into the former Hospital,
and one into the latter.
