Resolved (Mr. Stuart: Mr. Brownfield)— hat on the occasion of the public holiday to
be observed on Tuesday, the 22nd June, 1897, in celebration of the completion of the
sixtieth year of Her Majesty's reign, the Vestry grant the men in their employ a day's
holiday and a sum of 8/- per man in addition to the day's pay, and that £2 2s. be paid to
defray the expense of having the bells of st. mary's church rung.
