Twentynine new gulley tops and frames to replace worn out and broken ones have
been fixed as follows:—

Princes Street 1 Clarence Street 3
Manholes.
The only additional manholes constructed upon the sewers during the past year are
those in connection with the new sewer for the drainage of New Road No. 2, forming the
approach on either side of the new Plough Bridge.
One existing manhole in Adam Street which was covered over below the surface of the
ground has been brought to the surface and covered with an iron cover.
Five existing manholes have had new covers and frames fixed, as follows:—

Warndon Street 1 Adam Street 1
Twelve new frames and covers have been fixed upon the sewers to lampholes or flushing
inlets in the following streets:—
