Every milk vendor in the Borough is periodically reminded
that the Tuberculosis Officer is willing to examine, free of
charge, all employees or candidates for employment in the
milk trade. Although this letter is sympathetically received
by the trade, no examinations were sought.
The Work of the Dispensary. The Tuberculosis Dispensary
is situated in Maxey Road, Plumstead, and consultations
are held there, special days and times being allotted
to men, women and children. These are given in tabular
form below. At times when clinics are not held, the Tuberculosis
Officer is either engaged in administration or in home
visiting.
