Incidence. The following Table shows the age and sex incidence
of cases of zymotic enteritis notified in Woolwich during
the year. This Table bears out the well.established observation
that summer diarrhoea is more apt to attack males than
females at all ages. No statistics are available showing the
similar incidence of this disease in other London Boroughs
because it is notifiable only in Deptford, Fulham, Greenwich
and Woolwich. The number of cases under 1 year notified
in these Boroughs was as follows :—Deptford, 65; Fulham,
100; Greenwich, 105; Woolwich 155.
